Covenant Christian Academy is Hiring a Director of Admissions Near Peabody, MA

Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a qualified Director of Admissions to oversee the process for all student admissions from inquiry through enrollment. The Director will be responsible for developing enrollment strategies, recruiting prospective students, and ensuring a seamless admissions experience aligned with the school's mission.

The ideal Director of Admissions will:

  • Represent and introduce the school to prospective parents and students - in-person, through email, and by phone - facilitating a warm and welcoming first touchpoint experience for all inquiries
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and managerial skills to oversee the admissions process, including initial data collection, answering questions, arranging tours,, advising parents during the online application process, scheduling and conducting interviews and any necessary screening or admissions testing, and, if accepted, seeing accepted families through the final enrollment process
  • Develop and execute tailored admission strategies to attract and enroll students who align with the values of our school
  • Collaborate with school leadership to establish enrollment goals and create targeted outreach plans
  • Utilize marketing effectively to promote the school and attract new students
  • Work with the Administrative Team to implement our well-established admissions events to foster positive prospective parent/student experiences through tours, events, and interviews. Responsible for coordinating the program, speakers, set up and break down
  • Ensure all applicant files contain complete documentation; review applicant applications with Administrators to determine admissions decisions
  • Stay informed about industry trends in education to continuously enhance the admission process
  • Oversee the Admissions Prefect and Students Interns who assist with Admissions Events

Qualifications of the successful candidate will include:

  • A mature Christian faith and the ability to nurture this faith in students
  • An understanding of and agreement with the mission, philosophy, and pedagogy of Covenant Christian Academy
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate and related field (Education, Communications, etc)
  • Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or related fields
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of admissions processes
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong technology skills
  • A willingness to embrace wearing many hats in a tight knit educational community
  • Must be willing to sign CCA’s Statement of Faith and Core Values. Must maintain the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, serving as a Christian role model and mentor both in and out of school, to students, parents, fellow faculty members and employees in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living

Contract runs: July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025
Compensation: Based on Education and Experience

All interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and personal statement of Christian faith.

Position will remain open until filled. Candidate interviews will be scheduled following review of requested material. Position may be filled at anytime through the search process once a desired candidate has been identified.
